SONIC LOST WORLD

There come times in a Sonic fan's life where a new game trailer releases itself, and that Sonic fan must be careful to not become overhyped and take the trailer at face value and wait to play it themselves.

THIS SONIC FAN FAILED! I'M SO FREAKING EXCITED I CAN'T STOP SCREAMING!!!

*ahem* Anyway, today SEGA released the debut trailer for the next Sonic title, Sonic Lost World. Watch it below:



Now things about this game:

- It brings new moves to Sonic's arsenal, such as the wall run and climbing abilities.

- It's gameplay is similar looking to Sonic X-treme, the cancelled Sega Saturn game, as well as Super Mario Galaxy.

-The "Deadly Six" are introduced in this game, serving as the antagonists. Not much about them is known yet. Not sure if Eggman will be involved in this game or not.

- It's a part of Sega's three game deal with Nintendo (Lost Worlds, Sochi 2014 Olympics, and an unannounced title), meaning this game will be exclusively on Wii U and 3DS.

If this game is as good as it looks, there's gonna be one more reason for people to buy the Wii U. Of course, there are fans who are incredibly pissed the game isn't going to the other systems, but the fact of the matter is you'll either have to buy a Wii U/3DS or skip Lost World.

And once again, I am excited about this game. It really looks good. I don't want to fall into the Sonic Cycle, but I think they cycle has pretty much been broken with Colors and Gererations. Sonic Lost World will release later this year.
